It was our first time camping, so we didn't quite know what to expect. We were very happy with what we found. Very spacious campsites with great layouts, very clean and well maintained toilets and bathrooms, and a well stocked general store onsite. The staff in the store (who also handled check in) were very friendly as well.I had to work hard to convince my wife to agree to the camping trip, and her plan was that it would be our first and last, but she surprisingly enjoyed it so much that she was already planning to book a trip for the next season as soon as we got back home!

Paradise Valley is very clean, well organized, and with the best ice cream in Squamish. RV charging, bike and bicycle rentals, propane and fire pits, walking gardens, tons of beautiful trails nearby inside the Inland Rainforest. And most impressive is the cedar showers, they are super hot and smell amazing 😊🥰

Superb environment with well managed team! This campground’s washroom was SPOTLESS! Super clean with refreshing scent!Much appreciated with their service! My SUV accidentally ran out of battery but the manager quickly ran with jumping charger! My problem was solved in less than 5 mins.Highly recommend everyone to come and camp here!

Great amenities that were kept clean!! Aggressive raccoons, make sure you keep your food in your vehicle. The quiet hours being at 10pm was not ideal. The trash cans were loud when people would slam them early (5am) in the morning!! We were a large group spread across 6 sites and for the most part we all loved the location!

The cleanest, safest, and most serene campground we’ve been to.My husband and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and never had any concerns and issues about the place and staff. We love how clean and tidy the campground is.Not everyone would agree, we like their policy in terms of visitors and quiet time. We feel safe and our intention to relax is valued. We will definitely be back next year as we had a pleasant experience during our camp. Thanks to all the friendly and hard working staff as well.

This is an AMAZING campground. I wish I could give them more than five stars. The staff, especially Michel, Francine and Joanne, are very friendly and hardworking to ensure the site is super clean and very well maintained .There are few rules we must follow but they are just common sense to ensure safety and enjoyment for every visitor.By the way, my kids love their ice cream there.

Very nice campsite in the middle of nature. The tent sites are very beautiful, and you feel like you are alone since everyone has their own area. Toilets and showers are super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The campsites and facilities are very well maintained, and the general store on site has everything you need (but pricey). The nightly price is worth it, although the showers did not work when i was there (no water pressure - just drips - or hot water). The forest itself is very beautiful. We had a relaxing time!

Very clean, very quaint, very cute. It’s our 3rd summer spending time in this corner of Squamish, and it’s great. However, previous years we enjoyed it more - this year I found it a bit over-policed which adds an odd layer of unease to our vacation. Give some more trust and autonomy to your paying adult guests - I think it will go a long way.My kids really enjoy doing the scavenger hunt, the store has everything, and even on a wet weekend, most sites are well protected from the elements with all the trees. The campground attracts the right kind of campers with the no music policy 😏

Very impressed with how well this campground was maintained. They have the cleanest showers/bathrooms that we have been to. Always have staff patrolling and cleaning up the garbages. They even have propane fire pits for rent if you didn’t have one. We had a wonderful time camping there this weekend. Will definitely be back next time.

A beautiful and extremely well maintained campsite - 15 minutes north of Squamish.Picturesque, magazine-worthy campsite where each pitch has a lot of room and privacy.Very quiet and very well kept. No loud RV generators or blaring music - just the sounds of nature.Lovely little store stocking the essentials, camp supplies and treats. The bathrooms, showers and dish washing facilities around the site are extremely clean. $1 for 5 minutes of hot water in a very clean shower block is an absolute bargain when compared to what you get at other sites. In summary - a very pretty, clean, peaceful - nature-inspired campsite. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to one day come back.

Really nice campground with very clean showers, $1 for 5 minutes. Little store at the office has some basics, along with ice cream and candy. Grounds were well kept and the campground was very quiet at night. The only minus would be that longer RV’s may find navigating the entrance & exit difficult due to the amount of trees. Would not recommend anything over 30 foot.

This place is great for camping beginner - they have an onsite store for food and supplies and spa grade shower and bathroom. Everything is so clean and in order. The place is safe enough for kids to go explore on their own.

Lovely family oriented campground, with great, clean facilities and spacious spots. We were tenting and enjoyed how quiet it was. No music or generators allowed. My son loved doing the treasure hunt all around the campground. Highly recommend! Even the drive there was magical with thickly moss covered trees.

Beautiful campground. Feels more like you are in a forest rather than campground. It's the only private RV park I have ever been to where you are not packed like sardines. Each spot is well separated from the others. Well maintained. Their toilets are beautifully done and kept spotless. Definitely my go to place next time we are in Squamish.

Just left from our 1st trip of the season and can't recommend this place enough. We stayed a few years back and enjoyed it but since our last visit there have been a few updates and additions to facilities. All the staff were amazing and friendly. The toilets, showers and dish sinks were kept amazingly clean and were a pleasure to use. On our 1st evening we discovered our propane stove was broken, after speaking with staff they were able to lend us a small butane stove to use until we could go get a new one in the morning. Saved our dinner!!! Love that there is no amplified music. We were able to relax and enjoy the peace. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great weekend

Very nice. We had the pleasure of staying for one night before the busy season kicked in. Hospital cleanliness in the washrooms and showers. Would definitely be a different experience if it were fully booked up, but that would be the case any where.

I'm very happy to have had my first real camping experience with my husband here! The ladies working at the reception were kind and helpful, and the grounds were clean and beautiful. The maintenance crew does a great job at keeping everything clean and tidy. It was an absolute delight for this camping noob to spend a night on these campgrounds. As a bonus there is drinkable water available, clean toilets and sinks to wash up and even showers! It's the perfect mix of nature and comfort. We are planning on coming again next weekend, it was that great! 5 stars all around 🙂

Place is quiet, lots of space in between sites for travel trailers, and has a general store that operates 9am-9pm. They even have fire pits and tanks for you to rent. Best of all, they have full service hookups.

The drive in was through a beautiful old growth forest. Sites were well laid out with plenty of trees but ours was a bit close to the neighbors. There's a quiet time after 10pm and people did complain about us apparently for chatting with our teenage grandkids until 11:30 pm. Dead quite at night but don't even think about sleeping in past 8am, not going to happen. Washrooms and showers were nice and clean and if one's occupied there's another close by. The only complaint really is our site was not level and no matter how we set up the tents we were leaning outward. The firepit was in a bad place as well, behind the picnic table, but the fire ban had us using the propane fire bowl anyway. If you want a quiet family friendly camping experience this is it. If you like to socialize in the evening then maybe choose a different campground. All in all, our 4 days there was a great camping experience. We'll be back. On a side note, there are train tracks close by but we didn't hear one train.

Absolutely fantastic site!! Good location, family oriented, friendly and hardworking staff, clean toilets/showers, quiet at night, handy store on site with lots of amenities including great coffee and ice cream! Can't recommend this place enough. We loved it!Edit - August 2022 - Just arrived home from our 2nd visit to Paradise Valley and it was just as good as last year. Definitely making this an annual trip!

Everything is clean, organised and well equipped. My only issue is that some of the sites are very close together, and we had a large group of kids next to us. A bit more space to ourselves would have helped. Otherwise, a great campsite in the forest.

Great Campground. Nice private fully-treed camp sites. Very clean washroom and shower facilities. Well stocked store. Quiet, peaceful place. Just wish you could play your own music (quietly) rather than listen to someone playing guitar at another site.

First class campground, with CLEAN facilities, a well stocked shop, & cafe onsite. Its so clear how much love & care has been put into keeping this campground in spotless condition. Such a wonderful environment for kids, & a separate adults only camping area for folks who are seeking some peace & quiet. A lovely trail to explore onsite too.

Staff is great . Campground is nice. Very clean washrooms and showers. Convenient store that has everything you need. They even come pick up your empty Propane tank and bring them back to you after refilling. At a premium price ofcourse. But so convenient. Great if you have kids and can't step away.

Excellent campground for families or those campers who prefer a few of the luxuries they are used to at home. They have at least two large, very private group camp sites which can fit atleast 4 cars (probably more). The group site we booked was alot larger that we expected. The sites are all well groomed with a fair bit of gravel. This is very important when it pours as there is no mud to deal with. The washrooms and showers are super clean at all times, general store is well stocked in case you forget something. The team even keeps the picnic tables covered with a tarp when not in use by campers! They have propane fire pit rentals in case a campfire ban is in effect or if you don't like burning wood. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they truly enjoy their work. There are train tracks which run along the property so you can watch the train go by (great for the little ones). They also have an open grass field area. The river is also a short walk away.Note: this is a music free campsite and this is strictly enforced.

Was looking for a clean, safe, easy spot for my wife and 3 year old son’s first camping trip and settled on Paradise due to its close proximity to Squamish and Fergies Cafe if things didn’t go so well and my wife needed a quick pick me up.Paradise was better than expected. Felt well run and managed, bathrooms were the nicest I’ve ever been to camping (my wife mentioned how impressed she was) the store has everything you could need, the spot was nice, clean and flat.We followed some trails down to the river and saw a ton of spawning salmon which thrilled my son.My wife said next time she goes camping she wants to come back here so all in all I’m Paradise was perfect.

It's our first time at Paradise Valley camp site and it is great. In fact I think it's probably been the best site we have stayed at. Staff are very friendly and helpful the washrooms etc are spotless. The sites are large and easy to get in. The Site is set in fantastic rainforest and extremely quiet. It's also handy for trails nearby. They also have well stocked shop just in case you forget anything.Overall this is a great camp site and highly recommend you visit if you are in the Squamish area. We will definitely be back next year.

This is a beautiful and very clean campsite. Everything is well taken care of and kept tidy, including the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campsite. The location is perfect, with lots of walking trails amongst the beautiful forest and leading to the nearby river. All the employees we interacted with were extremely nice and helpful, and the shop has anything you might need in case you forget something. We're so happy that we stayed here, and can't wait to go back next summer!

It is a family owned Campground and very well kept. There are always staff regularly driving by and are friendly. The Campground was full and had a lot of children there. They even had a children's event (Tye Dye T-shirt) you can register for a small fee that the kids can participate in.There's a hatchery on the other side of the railway you can visit with your family and a small beach next to the Cheakamus River. We would definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 2 nights at a double site. Washrooms were really clean. Campsite was really spacious. Showers are only $1 for 5 minutes. Campground was really quiet and serene at night. The location is great as there is a lot to do nearby. Check in process was seamless. Lots of tall trees provide abundant shade from the sun.

Shannon at the booking centre was such a pleasure to speak with. I had to do a last-minute cancellation because my partner was invited to complete a written test for a job competition and needed high-speed internet. She graciously refunded me the full amount and wished him good luck on his test. Definitely going to book here again (when no test-taking is required), fabulous customer service!

We lucked out on finding this campground just by searching around Google. When we first arrived the site is very well organized and the camp sites are very well thought out. It has both a family friendly area and an adult area. There's also a fairly easy trail to the train tracks and salmon hatchery near by.The office has everything you could possibly need in case you've forgotten something which is very handy if you don't wanna drive back into Squamish. The ladies that checked us in and out are also very kind and easy to talk to.The washrooms and showers are all very nice and look to be as energy efficient as possible. Our campsite is decently covered by trees but we had a nice opening to still star gaze at night when the fire died down.

Have been to this park a few times and are going back again in july. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the park is extremely beautiful! The best friend I like about is the fact that it's very quiet in the evenings and it late at night! They do not tolerate stupid people screaming and yelling their heads

I'd say this is the best privately owned campsite from Whistler to Hope. Comfortable, quality and clean facilities with a happy vibe.. Ie Kids riding there bikes. Most of the sites have lots of space between them making them feel much like a Provincial campground. The management of this place is top notch and everyone there is really wanting to make you feel at home.

Spacious campsites, spread out generously on a beautiful forested lot. Feels more like a Provincial site than private. A gem to be sure, with ice cream by the scoop to top it off.

Beautiful campground! Clean, serene, family and dog friendly. Kids can ride bikes around. Peaceful, if you are looking to unplug from the city noise and electronics, this campsite is the place to go. New clean facilities, washrooms, showers, front porch. Ice cream and treats for kids, wood available for purchase. Friendly, kind staff. We walked down to the river, a couple small beaches to pay with kids and dogs. Trails for walking and hiking around. Very close to Squamish centre of you need to buy food.Definitely coming back.

Awesome campground. Feels more like a provincial park except it has 16 sites with full RV hookups. Campsite is meticulously maintained and staff are always patrolling to ensure patron safety and serenity.Sites 14 and 13 get a bit of road noise but it does die down after about 7pm. Currently no tenting permitted due to Covid-19. All units must be self contained. Worth a visit!

We have camped here twice in the last month and it was so great! They have full service campsites but it feels like a wooded provincial site. There is a good amount of shade and sun and it is QUIET. No partying is allowed which is really lovely when you are camping with a family. The hosts are super friendly and keep the campground immaculate. Their COVID precautions are so great; made me feel totally at ease. They have a fully stocked store of goodies and photos of everything inside so you can shop with out contact. There is lovely deck area that has a wide open grassy field below with red Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy some sun and eat ice cream that is less than $5 for a double scoop. And they disinfect the chairs daily to keep it clean. I will definitely go back again next season.

This private campground is a gem. One of the nicest places we have come across. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the grounds immaculate. Every site is beautiful and surrounded by lush forest providing a good amount of privacy. While being respectful of covid requirements they still have everything you may need, a small store with the typical camp necessities, propane & firewood. Having a policy of no music makes the evenings extra peaceful... 5+ star experience!

This is so much better than that poorly managed cesspool Alice Lake up the street. The no music policy brings a very nice clientele and makes it very peaceful. Well stocked camp store and ice cream stand. Hiking trails nearby. Fergie’s restaurant is close for an amazing breakfast. Wood is a tad expensive but the campsites are level, clean and nicely treed. A bit more money than the provincial site but worth the difference.

Very clean washrooms, helpful office staff, maintenance staff not as friendly but I think they were exasperated with our kids biking on the road. I think you should add to your website that you don't allow anyone off trails, (playing in the trees behind sites and making a fort with 6 branches was a nono and had to be taken down) and rock painting is also not allowed. It might not be a deal breaker for most but definitely for some! Our grandchildren don't want to come back. 🙁

Since the campground owners do not want the children playing in the forest; there should be provided a playground for the children. We were there with six small children who ended up riding their bikes up and down the road which is very dangerous. The campground is very well maintained and very clean washrooms.

Very nice place with only 40 min drive from North Vancouver. The staff are great and very nice. We got there early and they prepared the site for us before the check in time. They offer many things you may need (or may forget to bring) in their office to buy including ice cream and coffee. There's couple of great trails around as well as a hatchery. Please note they do not allow any kind of amplified music so don't go there if you wanna party however they allow playing guitar till 10 pm.

Spent 2 nights here in July 2019. My first time back in over 10 years. This is a campground focused around parents and kids. The campground is very quiet at night and at about 11pm the whole campground is near silent. There is NO amplified music allowed which i love. This place is kept extremely clean and organized. The bathrooms/shower and wash up areas are all clean and well maintained. They have general store that carries everything you can imagine if you forget anything. There is some great walks and short hikes in the general area. Pricing is great and very affordable for what you are getting. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO PARTY - do not expect to get drunk and blast AC/DC all night long. This is a family campground filled with kids and i would stay here again if camping with kids. If you do not have kids DO NOT CAMP HERE, you will not like it, unless you operate on a parents schedule. i.e. asleep at 10:30 and up at 7:00 AM

Great private campground. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Convenient showers and toilets. Sinks for doing dishes and washing up as well. Lots of fun things for kids to do with games, bikes for rent, trails and more. We even did their geocache, which was great fun and very well set up. The store has many essentials as well as icecream! This was our third time visiting here with our family and a group of friends.

The campsite is very well cared for and has lovely mossy, dense forest between sites. Wow.. flush toilet with a tile floor and sink in an outhouse is amazing. They even have a latch for your dog's leash outside the washroom door. We chose a site with power, water and sewer dump even though we sleep in a tent, and there was enough room for our tent and the screen dome over our picnic table. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived a little early, but we were able to relax at the picnic tables by the store while our site was being made ready. It truly was Paradise for 3 nights.

Wonderful staff who put a lot of effort into maintaining a beautifully pristine and and relaxing environment. The sites were well sized and we were able to stay in an adult only area, but there were groups ranging from whole families to solo campers all enjoying their stay. Gorgeous walking trails run next to a river and have charming bridges to pause and listen to the forest.

A very family oriented camp site with clean shower rooms and rest rooms. No broadcasting of radio or music and a quiet time after 10pm is a very great regulation to promote a cozy and back to nature feel.

My wife and I spent 3 nights there and enjoyed every minute of it. The facilities were clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly. It is a family oriented campground so there were lots of little (and big) kids playing and running around during the day but from 10pm to 7am it was very quiet. This is not a campground for loud partying but that is exactly what we were looking for. We are looking at booking another week there this summer and will be taking the rest of our family.

Lovely little campground with all the usual park amenities such as plumbed washrooms and a small convenience store. Campsites are close together but have some foliage in between. I can't speak to the high season as I've only been at the end of summer but it's been quite a relaxed atmosphere and I appreciate that I can bring my dog with me (on leash). There are some nice trails nearby as well.

We were there in September. Lovely place to spend a night. Self-check in possible. Showers cost a dollar but especially the showers near the entrance are totally worth it (I heard the others are rather basic). Such nice interior and so clean!

Camped here twice this summer and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My friends and I really enjoyed it. I understand now why it's hard to get reservations here. Facilities from washroom to showers are clean and well maintained. Staff have been friendly and very accommodating even with so many changes to my booking. Location being next to the river is great. Yes the train passes by from time to time but it isn't a bother. Definitely a great campsite and I'll be back again next year.

Amazing large Campground. The service is very friendly and helpful. They look for the nature and environment and to this the showers costs 1$, that we tourists take care if the water. Great to stay here a few nights.

I would highly recommend this place. It was located in a beautiful forest that was peaceful and quiet. All the staff were exceptional. One even helped my husband back in out trailer as we were new to driving a trailer and had a hard time with it. The washrooms were immaculate and there was a great little store with ice cream and any supplies you may need. We will definitely come back here soon!

We took my husband’s mother here for her first ever camping trip and it was the perfect experience for her. Rustic and natural, but with comforting amenities if needed. Showers, toilets, and the site in general were impeccably clean. There is an easy walk around the whole campground as well as several hiking options after a challenging (but scenic) 45 minute hike up the mountain. Will come back when we have kids!

Fantastic hosts, very clean and well maintained. Fairly quiet as most sites were empty due to covid restrictions with no washrooms. Great hiking trails and close to river. There are train tracks behind campground but only a stopped train on it.

Recommending with reservations-- We were really surprised upon arrival that there is a train that runs behind the campground as we saw no mention of it either on the PVC website or in any of the reviews. It's not super frequent, but we did hear it in the middle of the night during both nights we were there and at least once during each day. So not exactly the peace and quiet we would have preferred. On that same note re: peace and quiet, we were really disappointed that though we were in the "adults only" section, our site was right across from the Group site that held over 20 school age kids on our first day/night. Now we don't dislike kids and welcome the laughter of play but the din of that many kids with their college-age chaperones all crowded into one site made that first evening less than relaxing. In our experience, most Group sites are a bit removed from the rest of the sites-- maybe something for PVC to think about. Once they departed the next morning, the rest of our stay was nice and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff and clean facilities, overall, a good experience but given the train, something they unfortunately can't change, I doubt we would stay again.

This campground is the best I have been staying at. The showers and bathroom areas are always clean. The sites are away from each other. There is plenty to do, trails to walk near by, bikes you can rent and activities that you can participate if you choose too. We enjoyed the beauty of the forest.
I highly recommend this campground... ENJOY

I'm a local who lives in Whistler. It's great for my hubbie and I as it's only a 45 min drive. I've camped @ Paradise 2x each summer for the last 2 summers. I love it!! It's beautiful. I really feel like I'm out in the woods. There aren't really any "bad" sites. Sites are private and spacious. Great for adult couples and families. Very clean toilets and showers. Big sinks to wash up in and do dishes. Small store on the grounds. Lovely trails to take a walk. No extra charges for pets but dogs have to be leashed - no biggie. Some people take issue with the fact that there's no music allowed. I appreciate that. I go camping for peace and quiet, not to listen to someone's radio etc. A bit more expensive than a provincial campground but a few extras. IMO price is still very reasonable. Very busy on weekends book early!

Super friendly staff and one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever been privileged enough to camp at. The personalized rocks they allow you to paint and leave around the campground is a special touch and we really loved hiking around and looking at how far people traveled to be there. Us, for example! We're from the Central Coast of California, and we're already looking into planning another trip, just to stay at Paradise Valley for a week or two. Thank you for such an incredible experience!
