Paradise Valley Campground runs along the Cheakamus River, seven scenic km off Highway 99. The Cheakamus River is a tributary of Squamish River and a popular fishing destination. For anglers who enjoy nature and the sport of catch and release fishing can look forward to seasonal runs of salmon, steelhead, trout and char. Pink salmon run in the odd years and start usually around mid July. A freshwater fishing license is required. — We want to say, that your campground is such a heartfull and lovely place, that we enjoyed o…

We had a fabulous time at your beautiful campground over the September long weekend. The campground was peaceful, well-maintained, and close to hiking and fishing. This is a great spot for families looking to get into camping with younger kids. Lots of space for them to ride bikes, play games–there is even ice cream and a bubble gum machine. We hope to come back next summer.

It was a beautiful stay we have had in a long time. The place was clean/quite/friendly. We really enjoyed our July long weekend with the cousinhoods. We thank you the ” STAFF ” got the wonderful welcome. Our kids have once again greeted nature as it should be and away from the computer/games/tv world. Although me did made some noises playing our acoustic guitars and serenaded all the wildlife to bed but not the other campers as they simply liked what we played for them. We look forward to comimg…
Dear hosts. I searched the internet for a lovely campground before we left Germany to fly to Canada for a round-trip. As we had to drop off our motorhome in Vancouver I decided to choose a campground which is not too far away from the rental station in Burnaby. Arriving on your campground my wife and I fell in love with that spot. It is so charming and you as hosts are so friendly. Every site is as you discribed it on your website. So we are absolutely lucky and proud to stay here even it’s just…

Well, what can we say. After our amazing RV road trip starting from Vancouver, over to Vancouver Island, then Whistler, onto Jasper, through the Icefields Parkway to Banff, then home to London from Calgary, your campsite was ‘THE BEST!’ on whole trip….and we stayed in many. What a delight to stay in such tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Our pitch made us ‘oooh and ahh’, and felt like we had our own little piece of forest! The calm that came over our three children as they relaxed and paint…

Paradise Valley was one of the best RV sites that we stayed at on our Canadian tour. The site is extremely well run, tidy and equipped. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. It is well worth the short drive from Squamish, which itself is worth a visit, as is the Squamish Spit, if you are into kite and wind surfing. Squamish also has a small, but interesting (if you like railways!) museum. An extra bonus at Paradise Valley is the nearby railway line where the occasional Whistler Mountaineer …
