As we approach the day of our camping, we realized that it was going to be a rainy day in the whole of Vancouver including Squamish. We called Pat and she was very accommodating to have us move one day later. It turned out that the next 3 days we booked ourselves prior to our children going to school will be sunny and clear. Our kids ages 9, 8, 6 and 3 had a blast, enjoyed the rock painting, the trail hikes and the fire pit. The campground is conducive to family camping. We are amazed at how the…

The problem with writing a review like this is that when you find a gem like this you want to keep it to yourself so that when you go and book your site you will get it. However, that would be selfish. If you are looking for a peaceful get away then this is the place. The sites are very large and private. My biggest beef about camping is that you never know who your neighbours are and how noisy they will be when it is time to settle down. Not here. The peace and quiet was just wonderful. It w…

It was a beautiful stay we have had in a long time. The place was clean/quite/friendly. We really enjoyed our July long weekend with the cousinhoods. We thank you the ” STAFF ” got the wonderful welcome. Our kids have once again greeted nature as it should be and away from the computer/games/tv world. Although me did made some noises playing our acoustic guitars and serenaded all the wildlife to bed but not the other campers as they simply liked what we played for them. We look forward to comimg…

Paradise Valley campground really is a camping paradise. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the grounds and washrooms are kept immaculate, the owners are friendly and welcoming. Our one concern was the trains, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that they were never an issue, even at night. Thanks Lynn and Pat for a wonderful camping experience.

Well, what can we say. After our amazing RV road trip starting from Vancouver, over to Vancouver Island, then Whistler, onto Jasper, through the Icefields Parkway to Banff, then home to London from Calgary, your campsite was ‘THE BEST!’ on whole trip….and we stayed in many. What a delight to stay in such tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Our pitch made us ‘oooh and ahh’, and felt like we had our own little piece of forest! The calm that came over our three children as they relaxed and paint…

This was the most lovely campground we have been to on our tour from Toronto to Vancouver. Although we stayed for only one night, ice cream and service was wonderful and relaxing. Many thanks.

We had a fabulous time at your beautiful campground over the September long weekend. The campground was peaceful, well-maintained, and close to hiking and fishing. This is a great spot for families looking to get into camping with younger kids. Lots of space for them to ride bikes, play games–there is even ice cream and a bubble gum machine. We hope to come back next summer.

Paradise Valley was one of the best RV sites that we stayed at on our Canadian tour. The site is extremely well run, tidy and equipped. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. It is well worth the short drive from Squamish, which itself is worth a visit, as is the Squamish Spit, if you are into kite and wind surfing. Squamish also has a small, but interesting (if you like railways!) museum. An extra bonus at Paradise Valley is the nearby railway line where the occasional Whistler Mountaineer …
